Assistant Manager / Manager, Communications

The Communications & Corporate Development Division provides specialist support and services to divisions including corporate communications, stakeholder's relations, human resource development, IT services and office management.

The Corporate Communications team comprises strategic communications specialists who effectively communicate and promote the work of SIF - and how our programmes bring people together to share ideas, skills and resources to enrich lives and effect positive change.

Responsibilities:

We seek an experienced public relations & marketing communications specialist who is adept at developing and implementing integrated communication plans on the digital platform. You thrive on engaging the media as a partner – promoting good editorials and developing strong engagement strategies with various media platforms. You must be passionate about the power of communication through multiple platforms and demonstrate strong capability to execute campaigns through these channels. You are able to create, develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns that include public relations, public outreach and other marketing activities on the digital platform.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above with minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong communications specialist on the digital platform
  • Experienced in organising events including press briefings, exhibitions, and press visit programmes
  • Manage media campaigns to build SIF's brand equity in the local and international market
  • Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of communications responsibilities
  • International experience with strong network of media contacts is an added advantage

Manager, Information Technology

The Communications & Corporate Development Division provides specialist support and services to divisions including corporate communications, stakeholder’s relations, human resource development, IT services and office management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and implement SIF’s IT strategy
  • Conduct IT and business process analysis
  • Develop IT capability requirements
  • Manage IT budget and all IT procurement activities
  • Establish and maintain critical business services to support SIF’s purpose and goals
  • Implement disaster recovery plans aligned with SIF’s business continuity plan
  • Manage on premise and cloud infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field

  • Knowledge in Microsoft (MS) Windows server administration and configuration
  • Knowledge in Windows Operating Systems (Windows Server 2003-2016 and Windows 7-10)

Senior Manager, Finance

The Strategic Management Division is responsible for strategic and corporate planning, and budget management. Finance fosters good corporate governance and stewardship through adherence to industry best practices and statutory requirements, and on-target budget utilization. 

Responsibilities:

As Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department including review of journal entries, bank reconciliation and balance sheet schedules. You will ensure effective internal controls and proper financial records and procedures are adhered to, including maintaining accuracy of budgeting, invoicing and accounting expenditures. You will prepare, analyse and present the annual budget, collate data for quarterly presentation to stakeholders, liaise with internal and statutory auditors and implementing audit recommendations. You are also required to prepare updates to the Audit Committee, Investment Committee, Executive Committee and Board of Governors on financial and corporate governance issues. Apart from this, you will manage internal stakeholders on financial and budgetary matters.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accountancy or equivalent
  • At least 5 years working experience, with 2 years in supervisory position
  • Experience with public sector financial procedures will be an advantage              
  • Team player with strong initiatives, analytical and problem-solving skills

You are passionate about the developments in social media and demonstrates strong capability on campaign executions across SIF social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest and Youtube). You will also contribute to build the reach of SIF web properties and strong engagement with online community through SEO, SEM, other online marketing activities and partnerships.

  • Degree holder or above with minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Executive / Senior Executive, Citizen Ambassadors

The Communications & Corporate Development Division provides specialist support and services to divisions including corporate communications, stakeholder’s relations, human resource development, IT services and office management.

The Citizen Ambassador Relations team comprises alumni management and marketing communications specialists who effectively build and steward our community of Citizen Ambassadors. They also promote the work of SIF in bringing people together to share ideas, skills and resources to enrich lives and effect positive change. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in assessing organisational need and capacity for Citizen Ambassadors (CAs).
  • Co-ordinate all activities related to the recruitment, appointment, and training of CAs.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the team.
  • Support the team’s publicity and public awareness needs.
  • Support planning and execution of regular networking events and public road shows.
  • Maintain and enhance the CA database.
  • Assist in the assessment of process improvements and recommendations for various engagement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with a minimum 2 years of experience in customer relationship marketing or alumni management.
  • Good organisational and event management skills.
  • Good communication skills – written and spoken.
  • Good people skills – at all levels and across professions, self-aware and a team player.
  • Able to commit for a period of one year.

Responsibilities:

As a Manager / Senior Manager, you will be required to lead and manage a team to initiate, plan and implement programmes in the area of Cultural Exchange.

You will engage with artists, thought leaders, industry experts and key decision makers, and manage international visit programmes, dialogues and cultural initiatives that enhance cross-cultural understanding and open avenues for collaboration and strengthening of ties between Singapore and world communities - at the people to people level. 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in international relations / marketing / humanities or mass communication
  • Between 5 and 8 years of relevant experience in the areas of international relations / marketing / communications as well as partnership development and management
  • Keen interest in culture and current affairs is required
  • Strong team player who is highly motivated, meticulous and resourceful with good interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English with a strong understanding of intercultural communications and engagement
  • Working knowledge of other languages would be an added advantage to liaise with international stakeholders
  • Previous international experience will be considered (such as overseas stint or high-level experience working with overseas stakeholders)
