Through our Young Business Ambassadors (YBA) programme, we’ve helped numerous Singaporeans and Chinese nationals to work together and build friendships.

The YBA programme places professionals from Singapore and Shanghai in each other’s cities. Our partnerships with China-based institutions, since 2004, have given young Singaporeans and Chinese not only the opportunity to experience different work and living environments, but also to grow networks and develop friendships that live on after their overseas stints.

In fact, one of our YBA 2010 participants, Zhou Ji, has gone on to become our representative in Shanghai. By welcoming Singapore YBAs to Shanghai and maintaining connections among our alumni there, he plays an important role in deepening the long-standing relationship between Singaporeans and Chinese.

If you’d like to learn more about our work in China or get involved, please email us at contactus@sif.org.sg.
