ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director, Corporate Communications to develop communications strategies and programmes to help the foundation achieve its objectives.
  • Offer timely strategic counsel and advice to directors/ other staff on all aspects of communications.
  • Proactively identify existing and emerging issues and devise solutions to manage these issues successfully.
  • Conduct periodic strategic communications programme reviews at corporate and programme levels.
  • Prepare communications programme or project evaluation reports at appropriate intervals and recommend changes or adjustments accordingly.
  • Develop and build media relationships.
  • Update Corporate Communications' inputs for corporate calendar and proactively propose suitable media publicity.
  • Support other divisions in developing and building donor and volunteer relationships.
  • Ensure development of website meets SIF's mission.
  • Ensure CC's budget adherence and monitor its utilization rate.
  • Prepare and conduct corporate briefings.
  • Manage, coach and train juniors or new members in the project team.
  • Play mentor to new comer.
  • Ensure quality control of SIF's event management.
  • Ensure that all outputs meet standards and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mass Communiations or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience of which 3 years must in a managerial capacity.
  • Self-driven and versatile with good communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong sense of integrity.
  • Hands-on with effective planning and organisational skills.

HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMIN OFFICER

Responsibilities:

You will be fully involved in every aspect of HR, from strategic to operational issues. You will assist the Asst Director (HR & Admin) in steering HR direction and support including;

  • Development of the HR function - to update and administer HR policies and procedures
  • Organisation Development - to address issues such as performance appraisal, employee retention, change management, compensation policy and career development.
  • Employee Relations - to recommend employee relations practices that foster employee morale and motivation based on good corporate HR practices.
  • Training and Development - to assist in the development of employee training systems that includes training needs ananlysis, new employee orientation and measurement of training impact.
  • Compensation and Benefits - to review salary structure, employee care and support and wellness programmes.
  • Office Administrative Functions - to assist in facilities management and supplies procurement.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • 1-2 years related experience in a dynamic environment
  • A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Mature, resourceful and organised

EXECUTIVE, CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of SIF Annual Report including liaising with creative agency, sourcing for information and providing photos with captions
  • Support Asst Director in media relations activities of selected programmes including organising media events, drafting press releases, liaison with media, maintain media database, media output tracking and analysis
  • Manage the productioin of other SIF collaterals and corporate gifts
  • Prepare and update powerpoint presentations for all SIF programmes
  • Prepare and conduct corporate briefings
  • Support Asst Director in servicing existing corporate partners
  • Corporate Communications' representative for Stakeholder Management System
  • Assist Director on matters relating to Volunteer Management Framework
  • Assist to produce the monthly staff newsletter and quarterly e-corporate newsletter
  • Ensure all donations received are properly documented for ease of checking and reference
  • Prepare all necessary minutes for meetings with programme directors, external parties, etc and timely submission of such reports to the respective parties; ensure that all written materials to be submitted are accurate, error free and approved by the relevant director, parties where relevant
  • General support for CC admin, outreach and corporate events including video recording, photography and media monitoring of relevant dailies / publications / broadcast.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Degree in Mass Communications or any relevant certification
  • Preferably with at least 2-3 years experience in the field of Corporate Communications
  • Self-driven individual with strong initiatives, self motivated and able to motivate others
  • A team player who can also work independently
  • Creative and always searching for continual improvements

WEB CONTENT PRODUCER

Responsibilities:

  • As Web Producer, you will be required to create and coordinate web editorial and interactive content to showcase the Foundation's work and bring Singapore to a global audience.
  • Your main focus is to conceive and produce quality editorial content for the Foundation’s website.
  • You will be required to update website content and assist in developing innovative concepts and content presentation ideas, and work closely with staff and external content partners.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree with at least two years of related journalistic experience in either web content, broadcast or print.
  • Deadline-oriented, organised, multi-tasking work habits.
  • Skilled in working across department lines.
  • Demonstrate ability to plan, conceptualise and produce editorial web content that includes a broad range of elements for users, including video, podcasts, slide shows, polls, and multimedia packages.
  • Good command of the English language and in creative writing.
  • A command of HTML code, and the PC environment, and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier and other multimedia software will be an advantage.
  • Possess strong work ethic.
