Social innovation is prevalent in Singapore where we actively seek creative solutions to social needs and issues.
We invite you to join us on Saturday 4 August 2012 for insights into social innovation and enterprise in Singapore.
This edition of Singapore Insights begins with a session with the Singapore Corporation of Rehabilitative Enterprises (SCORE) who will share and dialogue with you on its strategies and Singapore’s multi-agency approach to the reintegration of ex-offenders into society, leading to the development of the Yellow Ribbon Project. Thereafter you will visit Dignity Kitchen to learn how the disabled are able to be gainfully employed and achieve financial independence.
Singapore Insights participants will next join private and social sector leaders, as well as aspiring change-makers, at SIF’s Ideas for a Better World Forum on “The Business of Doing Good”, where a panel of experts will discuss current trends and the future for the social and private sectors in doing good well.
The Ideas for a Better World Forum will conclude with the results and award of seed-funding to youths of SIF’s Young Social Entrepreneurs Programme to transform their social enterprise ideas into reality.
Join us for this informative session with your international friends! As spaces are limited, register now to avoid disappointment!
