We now live in an information age where people, ideas, information and cultures mix and move at an unprecedented pace. Technology and globalisation may have shrunk the world, but have they made it more connected and inclusive? What then, is the crux of a sustainable common future for all?
In its ninth series, the Singapore International Foundation’s Ideas for a Better World Forum seeks to discuss these salient questions and will feature Mr Jim Leach, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), as its keynote speaker. Other experts on the discussion panel include Professor Chan Heng Chee, Ambassador-at-large with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and SIF Governor Jennifer Lewis, who will be the forum moderator.
The forum will take place at the Glass Hall, Singapore Art Museum (SAM), which SAM has generously offered as the official venue sponsor for the event.
