13 March - 31 May 2016 | Singapore

(Right) Mr Luke Jerram, Principal Artist of ‘Play Me I’m Yours’, and co-Partners from The Playtent and the Singapore International Foundation – Ms Rebecca Lee, Director of The Playtent and Ms Jennifer Lewis, Chairman of SIF’s Arts For Good Advisory Panel – launch ‘Play Me, I’m Yours’ to show how arts can bring people together and raise awareness for social good.

The SIF partnered The Playtent and British artist Luke Jerram to bring global art installation Play Me, I’m Yours to Singapore.

25 artists worked with social enterprises and welfare organisations in Singapore to decorate 25 donated pianos for exhibition in public spaces across the island. Play Me, I’m Yours was launched at the OCBC Square @ Singapore Sports Hub on 13 March 2016, where all 25 decorated pianos were gathered at one location. During the launch, members of the public were invited to have a go at the pianos and learn more about the various social welfare organisation involved in the project.

The pianos were sent to different locations across Singapore following the launch for showcase, with community events such as workshops and performances to raise awareness for the causes championed by these organisations.
