ShiOK!

ShiOK! is a collection of images that define Singapore through the lenses of our international friends. From iconic landmarks to joyous events to rich cuisine, ShiOK! showcases your favourite moments.

Singapore Connects!

Through our series of SIF Connects! overseas events, we reconnect with FOS by sharing of Singapore insights, art and culture, and together, we grow the FOS community in their respective cities.

Since 2010, we have organised SIF Connects! events in Bangalore, Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, London, Manila, Melbourne, Phnom Penh and Shanghai.

This series of overseas SIF alumni engagement activities culminates in the SIF Connects! Singapore - the annual reunion in Singapore, where FOS reconnect with the Singapore community and refresh their Singapore experiences.

Singapore Insights

Singapore Insights is a series of thematic study visits and dialogues with experts and practitioners. Participants are brought to the heart of Singapore policies, strategies and way of life, to deepen understanding, grow professional networks and promote collaborations between Singaporeans and world communities.

Singapore Insights themes include Digital Media Capital, Biodiversity in the City, The Water Story, A Liveable City, City in a Garden, Social Innovation and Enterprise, Future-ready Economy, and Renaissance City.

The Singapore Challenge 2011 is on!

Break out your running shoes and sense of adventure to uncover the people, places and practices that define Singapore.

Taking you to iconic landmarks as well as uncharted territory, this multi-sensory race across the island will have you delving into unique sights, sounds and tastes, with loads of fun.

What's more, you get to make friends of different nationalities and stand to win some exciting prizes!

Are you up for the Singapore Challenge?

Gather a group of eight and register with your school’s international student office today! Each team should be represented by at least three nationalities, including Singaporean.

CIVIC LIFE: TIONG BAHRU

Civic Life: Tiong Bahru is a collaborative project between Singapore's National Museum and the British Council, with support from the Singapore International Foundation and the Arts Council of England.

Helmed by filmmakers Joe Lawlor and Christine Malloy, the community project explores identity, memory, architecture, a sense of place and civic space.
