Since August 2005, the SIF Singapore Volunteers Overseas programme has been sending volunteers to help train educators from Ullon Social Welfare Society (USWS). The SIF Xpats Connect! Urban Farmer's tour saw close to 40 participants heading for greener pastures in the Lim Chu Kang area on 16 August. Joining the tour were expatriates and Work Holiday programme participants who were introduced to another side of Singapore’s landscape.
