Singapore International Volunteers

Since 1991, the Singapore International Volunteers programme has supported more than 1,600 Singaporeans who have volunteered overseas. Today, the SIV corps continues to work with communities to create positive change that is sustained, even after they leave.

Speech Therapy project in Cambodia

In 2008, the Singapore International Foundation launched in Cambodia the first-ever speech therapy workshop on Feeding and Communication Skills in partnership with the Caritas-Centre for Child and Adolescent Mental Health.

Here, our international volunteer, Melissa Tham, imparts her skills and knowledge to 25 Cambodian medical staff so that they can pass it on to others.
