The dialogue with our Indonesian FOS follows the launch of the second volume of Singapore: Insights from the Inside in Singapore in March 2015. The 2nd edition of the book consists of personal insights in the form of essays by 50 members of the international community who have lived, worked or studied in Singapore. “They share their personal insights and unique encounters and experiences of Singapore’s head, heart and soul. These stories by our loving critics and critical lovers answer What is Singapore?, and in doing so help promote understanding to bridge communities. It also allows Singaporeans to reflect on its shortcomings and areas for improvement, as well as reminds us of the many blessings we enjoy,” said SIF Governor, Ambassador Kesavapany at the event in Bandung.

To build upon some of these insights shared and in celebration of Singapore’s 50th year of independence, the SIF invited our Indonesian FOS to the dialogue on What’s next as we shape the next chapters of the Singapore story.
