Play Me, I’m Yours
The SIF partnered Singapore arts platform The Playtent and British artist Luke Jerram to bring this global art installation to Singapore.
Working with social enterprises and welfare organisations in Singapore, 25 artists decorated 25 donated pianos, all of which were displayed at the OCBC Square @ Singapore Sports Hub during the installation’s launch on 13 March 2016. Members of the public were invited to have a go at the pianos and learn more about the various social welfare organisation involved in the project.
Subsequently, the pianos were sent to different locations across Singapore, and displayed in conjunction with community workshops and performances to raise awareness for the causes championed by these organisations.
