In a hard place, apply soft pressure by soft/WALL/studs

This exhibition by soft/WALL/studs, an assemblage of artists and researchers from Singapore, concludes a month long residency (by invitation) at the Cemeti Institute for Art and Society for its year-long “Maintenance Works” programme.
This project will develop the ongoing labours at soft/WALL/studs, which looks at the programming of space as a way to negotiate collectivities. The exhibition and research period would bring together artists and researchers whose interests span diverse fields of study to develop ways of working together and in parallel, forming spaces of of cross-field intellectual inquiry where individual participants's labours and interests are opened up through this close engagement across differences.
In a hard place, apply soft pressure is supported under SIF's Singapore Internationale programme.
