CausewayEXchange’s ‘Arts and Healing’ component will return to Singapore this September for its third edition!
An annual arts festival, CausewayEXchange, brings Singaporean and Malaysian communities together leveraging on the power of the arts to generate positive social change. The festival gathers artists, art therapists, medical professionals and caregivers through a series of interactive workshops, performances and panel discussions across three days (14 – 16 September 2018).
This year’s ‘Arts and Healing’ programs will explore the growing use of art therapy for emotional and psychological healing.
• Healing through Arts on 15 September 2018: glean insights through a panel discussion on the arts,
therapy and healing, enjoy a comedy performance and participate in workshops with art therapists
from Singapore and Malaysia.
Other closed-door ‘Arts and Healing’ programs include bedside art activities with patients from Jurong Community Hospital led by art therapy students from LASALLE College of the Arts and a multi-sensory performance for children with special needs by Republic Polytechnic students.
The Singapore International Foundation is delighted to continue our support for the third edition of CausewayEXchange ‘Arts and Healing’, organised by DMR Productions.
