President’s Inaugural Visit to the Singapore International Foundation

The Singapore International Foundation (SIF) warmly welcomed Madam Halimah Yacob, President of the Republic of Singapore, during her inaugural visit as Patron at the SIF’s premises on 18 July. More than 80 Citizen Ambassadors, SIF programme partners, members of the diplomatic corps, donors as well as SIF staff had the opportunity to meet and engage with President Halimah during the reception.

President Halimah became SIF’s Patron in January 2018, succeeding former President Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam, who was the Foundation’s previous patron from November 2011 to August 2017. The SIF is privileged and grateful for President Halimah’s warm friendship and guidance in furthering its mission of making friends for a better world.
