SIV Networking Evening July 2015: Making Friends through Storytelling

We reconnected with old friends, and made new ones in celebration of International Friendship Day, as part of our regular networking sessions with our Singapore International Volunteers.

Through the session, we learnt the art of storytelling, and enacted tales, which we hope will be useful for future Words on Wheels project trips!

Giving fellow participants high-fives for an enjoyable, engaging evening of storytelling.
Rebecca Lim, Head of Our Better World, SIF's digital storytelling initiative, sharing how we can all be a part of a powerful digital movement to inspire global action for good. All it takes is a click of a mouse!
Rounding up the interactive storytelling session with new friendships made.
If you can't tell stories using words, you can do so by using body language and facial expressions, as this SIV shows perfectly!
Our SIVs having a go at storytelling, after picking up some practical tips from Roger Jenkins, and they seem to have had a lot of fun doing so!
Our SIVs making new friends through fun activities and lots of laughter!
We invited Roger Jenkins - Singapore's very own award-winning storyteller, to share with us insights on the art of connecting through storytelling.
“Did you think you could get away with doing nothing?” - chided Roger Jenkins, as he urged everyone to participate in the storytelling session.
Everyone gamely participating in the storytelling session by Roger Jenkins, Singapore's very own award-winning storyteller.
