Addressing deep-rooted needs11 Apr 2012
“I am a firm believer of not merely giving handouts but rather getting more engaged with the causes that we support.
Whenever possible, we empower beneficiaries, giving them the means to uplift themselves, rather than merely tiding them over for the time being. I also do my best to engage my colleagues in volunteering opportunities.
I work closely with not-for-profit organisations to address deep-rooted needs of the beneficiaries.
To make a real difference to the community, we select programmes that are measurable and sustainable.
An example of such a programme is our partnership with the Singapore International Foundation’s Water for Life programme in Cambodia.”
