Singapore International Volunteers

Since 1991, the Singapore International Volunteers programme has supported more than 1,600 Singaporeans who have volunteered overseas. Today, the SIV corps continues to work with communities to create positive change that is sustained, even after they leave.

Obrigada, Singapore International Foundation! - A thank-you video from the adorable students from the Agape School for the Deaf in Dili, Timor Leste.

The students are the recipients of our Specialist Project which aims to improve the quality of education for the hearing-impaired in Timor Leste through the development of curriculum in sign language and the training of teachers and students with the potential to teach.

This project is helmed by our Singapore International Volunteers: David Lee, Elaine Teo & Alvan Yap (team leader).
