Mr David Chong was appointed as a member of the Singapore International Foundation’s Board of Governors in 2012. He has served as a member of the Executive Committee since 2015 and Treasurer from 2020 to 2022.

He is Partner at Shook Lin & Bok LLP. He specialises in corporate and corporate finance, with particular experience in the communications, media, technology, energy and natural resources sector. He has particular experience on cross-border transactions, having started his career in London before relocating to Asia.

He is a member of the Catholic High School Management Committee and secretary to the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation. He was a National Day Award recipient of The Public Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat) in 2022, in recognition of his valuable public service and contributions to the Foundation.
