Singapore International Foundation Appoints Ms Wu Ye-Min as CEO
Veteran diplomat and mediation expert brings two decades of international peacebuilding experience to lead SIF’s next chapter in global engagement
Singapore, 8 June 2026 – The Singapore International Foundation (SIF) today announced the appointment of Ms Wu Ye-Min as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective 1 July 2026. She succeeds Ms Corinna Chan. The SIF Board of Governors and staff thank Ms Chan for her contributions and wish her well in her future endeavours.
Advancing SIF’s International Mission
As the SIF commemorates its 35th anniversary this year, Ye-Min’s appointment comes at a pivotal time in SIF’s continued efforts to strengthen international partnerships, deepen people to people ties and expand its social impact initiatives to serve the region. She will lead the SIF’s mission of building a better world through the exchange of ideas, skills and resources between Singaporeans and global communities, bringing with her 20 years of experience in diplomacy, sustainable development, and developing opportunities for peace.
Ms Wu joins the SIF from the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, where she oversaw efforts to transform conflict and limit human suffering as Regional Director (Asia Pacific). She brings public sector experience from Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), including senior diplomatic postings to the United Nations in New York as well as the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) in Geneva.
Ms Wu’s career spans multilateral negotiations, trade policy, international organisations, and regional affairs reflecting a strong track record in fostering dialogue and building strategic partnerships across diverse stakeholders. She is also a co-founder of Negotiation Resolution, an advisory focused on negotiation and mediation training.
Ms Wu read for her undergraduate degree at both Oxford University and Johns Hopkins University, and holds a Master of International Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
Mr Janadas Devan, Chairman of SIF, said: “As the SIF marks its 35th anniversary this year, we are pleased to welcome Ms Wu to lead SIF into its next chapter. Her strong track record and extensive experience in multilateral diplomacy and peacebuilding are aligned to the SIF’s mission. Working alongside the Board and team, we are confident her leadership will advance SIF’s strategic priorities.”
Ms Wu said: “I am inspired by SIF’s dedicated volunteers. They give generously of their time and talent to deliver meaningful change and uplift lives across the region. They show me what it means to be a nation of responsible Global Citizens. Throughout my career, I have seen what becomes possible when people choose to connect, explore ways to collaborate, and collectively effect positive change. That conviction is what draws me to the Singapore International Foundation.
The SIF has, for 35 years, done something quite remarkable: it has built trust and friendships across borders. Despite the divides we are seeing in our world today, SIF continues to have agency – serving communities with compassion, guided by kindness and a spirit of generosity. I am deeply honoured to lead SIF at this important milestone – an organisation united by a shared belief in serving toward a better world.
I look forward to working with our staff, volunteers, donors, partners, and the communities we serve to deepen SIF's impact, where people-to-people connections represent our most enduring foundation.”
