Support

We offer various forms of support to eligible Singapore International Volunteers that enable them to further their roles as agents of positive change.

Seed Fund

The Singapore International Volunteer (SIV) Seed Fund supports initiatives by SIVs to address gaps or needs in host countries.

The funding can be used to start projects that can value-add and/or contribute to the host agencies, or to communities that SIVs have worked with as part of SIF project.

The SIV Seed Fund is open to all Specialist SIVs, who have worked directly with a host agency for at least three months, in an infield position or as part of a specialist project team.

Individual SIVs can get up to S$5,000 or up to 80% of the project cost (whichever is lower).

Grant

The SIV Grant enables both individual volunteers as well as volunteer sending institutions and corporations to champion the positive impact of our community development projects to the public.

This may take the form of a photography exhibition, book release, personal sharing sessions, or a documentary production.

The SIV grant is open to all In-field, Specialist, Direct Service and Direct Service Team Leader volunteers.

Individual SIVs can get up to S$3,000 or up to 80% of the project cost (whichever is lower)

Volunteer sending institutions and corporations can get up to S$5,000 or up to 80% of the project cost (whichever is lower)

If you would like to contribute towards overseas community projects, please contact us at siv@sif.org.sg.
