DiverseCity 2011

We believe in harnessing the power of its networks to enrich lives and effect positive change for a better world.  To this end, we have convened the first Friends of Singapore (FOS) gathering here, and launched DiverseCity, aimed at connecting global communities though the arts.

Our artists are cultural ambassadors for Singapore and our partners in showcasing Singapore and connecting Singaporeans with world communities
By supporting the global presentation of local creative works, we seek to promote mutual understanding that underpins enduring relationships
Since its inception in 2000, this arts and culture grant has supported 220 Singaporean artists in the presentation of their works in 50 countries
We believe art opens a window to Singapore insights and way of life is a key medium for promoting understanding that builds and underpins enduring relationship
2011 saw the launch of the annual SI showcase titled DiverseCity: Connecting Communities through Art
